Storybook Dads is a registered charity relying entirely upon charitable contributions. We do not receive any statutory funding or funding from HM Prison Service (although we are extremely grateful to HMP Dartmoor for providing our premises and amenities).

As with most charities, our main challenge is funding. So if you can make a donation, however small, every penny will help us.

How your donation can make a difference.

A £400 donation would allow us to train a prisoner/editor at Dartmoor, giving him valuable skills and improving his employment prospects upon release.

A £10 donation means a child can be comforted by hearing their parent’s voice reading a bedtime story on

CD

A £15 donation would mean that a child will receive a DVD of their  dad reading a story.

Book Publishers and Writers:

We are always looking for new and exciting stories to add to our collection. If you are a writer or representative of a publishing organisation, and would like to grant permission to use any of your works, we would be delighted to hear from you.
